If you like this book, you might also enjoy Blue Slipper Bay by Wendy K Harris, or Uphill All the Way by Sue Moorcroft. I love Jojo Moyes, her books are always really different from each other and her style is so easy to follow, it is like getting into your comfy slippers. A story about a woman who loses not only her husband but her sense of security when she finds out she’s broke, NIGHT MUSIC was beautifully written and completely captured me. Un muzician trăiește pentru muzica sa, iar Isabel Delancy este atât de pasionată de vioară și de muzica ei, încât orice altceva cade pe locul 2. As it is, it passes to his niece and children, Isabel, Kitty, and Thierry, struggling with the death of her husband and their new financial issues they move to the country and learn a new way of life.

Luckily, at this point, the family are thrown a lifeline in The Spanish House and they immediately up sticks and move to the country and try and settle into the difference that living in a small village community offers. I'd say this is a great beach read, but don't expect to be challenged by it or spend a lot of time thinking about it after. No podemos hacer caso a la sinopsis, porque es un despiste total, y eso me tenía confundida al principio, de hecho pensaba "a ver cómo arreglas esto".

Kitty makes friends in the village and becomes a more normal teenager, and Thierry is befriended by the mysterious Byron, who has a dark secret that only Matt seems to know about. Isabel will discover an instinct for survival she never knew she had - and that a heart can play a new song . Her 15 years old Kitty misses her friends from her old place and Thierry is still keeping his silence after dealing with tragedy of losing his father.

But when her husband dies suddenly, leaving her with a mountain of debt, she and her two children are forced to abandon their home and move to a crumbling pile in the country. Her novels have been translated into forty-six languages, have hit the number one spot in twelve countries and have sold over thirty-eight million copies worldwide. I find it slightly slower during the narration at the beginning, but then everything speeds up, keeping the reader glued to the pages as always. This really is perfect holiday reading with the book moving along at a good pace with different strands of the story coming to a satisfactory conclusion although I don’t think this has the depth of her more recent novels.Es ist bestimmt nicht ihr bestes Buch, denn die Geschichte ist schon recht durchschaubar und recht Klischee behaftet.
